Biography
Janet McWilliam successfully completed her MA Fine Art at The University for the Creative Arts (UCA), in Farnham, in 2021 and is a contemporary abstract painter, living and working in SE England.
Her work investigates materiality and focuses on content and storytelling. Recent pieces continue her experimentation into chance and control and there is a constant drive to test out colour theory as the materials and support come together.
Recent exhibitions in 2021 have taken place at the Foyer Gallery, UCA Farnham, Beyond the Boundaries, as well as online as an ‘Artist Takeover’ on Undertow Projects, (Instagram @undertowprojects).
